Parker Road Pet Resort Cottages and Day Spa provides an all encompassing array of services to make your pets stay the most relaxing visit possible. Each dog is welcomed into a private pet cottage where they are provided lambskin hypoallergenic bedding, a cushy cot and a tv playing animal themed shows. Our pet cottages are uniquely decorated in a tropical island theme complete with white picket fences and come in small, medium and large sizes. With over 36 square feet, each cottage provides a quiet sanctuary for pets to feel safe while you are away.

To individualize your dog's visit, we offer a variety of optional furnishings, activities, and special treats. While you are away you can send your pet daily treats, new toys, have them brushed and cuddled or read to, get them groomed or send them to obedience school. Visit our Special Services and make your dogs visit the ultimate in luxury.

We work hard to minimize the stress pets endure when they are away from you and transitioning to a new place. We want to make the visit as comfortable as possible for your pet and we try to get to know each pet individually. Our boarding facility is the only one in Houston that is run by a Veterinarian and has a staff member on premises 7 days a week to ensure the safety of your pet and that we can immediately respond to any emergencies.

A standard boarding stay includes staying in a private cottage with blanket and plush cot, three 15 minute private one-on-one indoor playtimes, feeding (on the pets regular schedule), five leashed walks in the outdoor playground and a happy hour puppy treat. We also provide Doggie Day Care, Grooming Services, Special Luxury Services, monthly Obedience School classes, Agility Training (coming soon), Birthday Parties, and Special Events for a nominal fee.

To get started, call or complete the reservation request form. You will need to bring a copy of your vaccination record to your first visit. Plan to spend about a half hour to hour with us when you first drop off your dog. We will spend time getting to know your dog and making sure they are comfortable in their cottage before you leave. Drop offs are from 7am to 12pm, other drop off times are available by appointment only. Pickup is from 7 am to 12pm and additional pickups are available, if scheduled when you make the appointment.

Every pet needs something that reminds them of home. We recommend bringing in a blanket, toy, a piece of clothing that smells like you or anything that might make your pet feel more comfortable while you are away. Please make sure that the item is washable and clearly labeled with your pets name when you drop it off.

Years of experience have taught us that a consistent diet is important for the health of your dog. We request that you bring their food in an airtight container, clearly maked with their name written on the outside (no baggies). When checking in, please provide detailed feeding instructions including the amount and times you normally feed so that we can keep them on a consistent schedule. When your dog returns home, they may have an upset stomach due to overexcitement and stress. We recommend limiting your pets access to food and water for a few hours after you return home until they have calmed down.

Vaccinations

For the safety of everyone in doggy daycare, all dogs must have up-to-date vaccinations and must provide a copy of vaccination records from your veterinarian. For vaccinations to be effective, they must be given at least 72 hours before you check-in.

Required Vaccinations:
DPP (Distemper, Parvovirus and Parinfluenza) - Must have been given within the last 3 years
Bordetella - Must have been given in the last year
Rabies - Must have been given in the last 3 years

Fleas & Ticks: All pets should be flea and tick free. If your pet show signs of fleas and ticks, you must purchase a flea/tick grooming package when you arrive or your pet will not be admitted.
