Parker Road Pet Resort Cottages and Day Spa features a afe, climate controlled indoor playroom complete with wading pool, and agility equipment. The goal of doggie daycare is to provide your dog with a comfortable and stress free day of socializing and play. With a playroom for large dogs and another for small dogs and a fenced-in outdoor play yard, we give the dogs room to run free or play in a group. For senior dogs, or those who are less active, a nice day cottage might be just the thing to give them a relaxing home away from home.

Your dog will spend the day at Parker Road Pet Resort doing what they love best and you will feel good because they are burning off extra energy and are happy when you come to pick them up.

Our staff attends multiple training programs on dog care and through experience learn how to read the personality of each dog, giving them the ability to create the most fun atmosphere possible. Our animal care staff pursue a career in animal care through continuing eduction courses and article writing.

In order to register for doggy daycare, each dog must pass a temperament test that helps us determine if daycare is right for you and your dog. This test lets us know how well your dog will play with others, what types of dog it would most like to socialize with, what activities it might enjoy, and how relaxed it will feel when you leave each day. If we feel that daycare would be too intimidating for your dog or your dog may have trouble socializing and sharing toys, we do offer daytime boarding cottages with three 15 minute one-on-one playtimes. Additionaly, dogs must have completed all of their puppy vaccinations and must be spayed or neutered before attending daycare.

Doggy daycare is open from 7am to 7pm, Monday through Friday and 7am to 5pm on the weekends. To enhance your dog's experience, we recommend attendance at least twice a week to give your dog a chance to make friends they will enjoy seeing every week.

To get started, complete the reservation request online or call us at (713)694-0557. We will schedule a time for your temperament test and reserve your daycare sessions. Please print out, complete and bring the application for daycare with you to your temperament test. You will also need to bring a copy of your pets curent vaccinations.

What to Bring

• Dog Collar (preferably with name tag)

• Dog food in an airtight container (clearly labeled, no baggies)

Vaccinations

For the safety of everyone in doggy daycare, all dogs must have up-to-date vaccinations and must provide a copy of vaccination records from your veterinarian. For vaccinations to be effective, they must be given at least 72 hours before you check-in.

Required Vaccinations:
DPP (Distemper, Parvovirus and Parinfluenza) - Must have been given within the last 3 years
Bordetella - Must have been given in the last year
Rabies - Must have been given in the last 3 years


Fleas & Ticks: All pets should be flea and tick free. If your pet show signs of fleas and ticks, you must purchase a flea/tick grooming package when you arrive or your pet will not be admitted.
